Compare collectible income in THE TSUNAMI GAME
In THE TSUNAMI GAME, a higher rarity label does not always mean a better income-producing item. Mutation and upgrade level matter too. Compare the displayed cash per second on the items you actually have.
The community's base-level tables provide a useful example:
| Item and mutation | Rarity | Base income | What it shows |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Dee, no mutation | Mythical | $1,250/s | Starting reference for this item |
| The Dee, Pancake | Mythical | $10,000/s | Mutation can reverse a rarity-only comparison |
| Gubbeast, no mutation | Secret | $4,000/s | Secret does not automatically beat mutated Mythical |
| Gubbeast, Diamond | Secret | $12,000/s | Compare the actual mutation too |
| Demon Core, no mutation | Event | $4,750/s | Event income can exceed a normal Secret item |
These are base-level community values, without additional cash multipliers. They are not a promise that an upgraded copy in your plot displays the same number. The source tables also contain rounding—for example, Stinky The Dee is listed at $1,562/s—so this wiki does not apply a guessed universal multiplier formula.
Is an upgrade worth the cost?
Read the upgrade cost, current income and income after upgrading. Enter those three numbers below. Payback time = cost ÷ additional income per second.
For example, an upgrade costing $60,000 that increases income from $1,000/s to $1,200/s adds $200/s. It takes 300 seconds, or five minutes, of that extra income to repay the price. This is an arithmetic example using your readings, not a claimed shop offer.
If you expect only two more minutes of play, the upgrade will not pay itself back during that window. If the income-producing item is retained into another rebirth, the longer horizon can change your choice. The calculation assumes continuous collection/production at the entered rate and no extra multipliers or costs. Equal or lower future income has no positive payback.
Rarity zones and rebirth requirements
| Zone | Required rebirth | Example focus |
|---|---|---|
| Common | R0 | Start collecting and learn the return route |
| Uncommon | R1 | First official rarity unlock |
| Rare | R2 | Continue retained-income progression |
| Epic | R3 | Compare actual income with existing mutated items |
| Legendary | R4 | Prepare for longer trips |
| Mythical | R5 | Community event items appear in this zone |
| Secret | R6 | Secure a Secret for the SECRET MEDIA badge |
Events and Hero items are special acquisition categories, not extra numbered rarity zones. Community Collectables lists event themes such as Bloodmoon, Stinking, Golden, Storm and Pancake. It names Relic, Airship and Tario as boss-related Hero items.
Carry capacity costs
Carry Guy is documented on the right side of the shelter exit. More capacity helps only if you can return with the additional pickups.
| Capacity change | Community-listed cash cost |
|---|---|
| 1 → 2 items | $10,000 |
| 2 → 3 items | $1,000,000 |
| 3 → 4 items | Not stated in the inspected source; read the live shop |
| 4 → 5 items | $100,000,000 |
| 5 → 6 items | $1,000,000,000,000 (1T) |
For the undocumented 3 → 4 price, check the offer shown to your character before saving toward it.
Upgrading a collectible
The Collectables guide describes an arrow beneath an income-generating item: blue for upgrading, yellow when fully upgraded. Inspect the live upgrade price and income change, then use the payback comparison above.
Before rebirthing, review cash you would otherwise lose and the collectible income you retain. Avoid treating another speed purchase as permanent value: cash and speed reset.
Weapons are a different purchase
SpringeeBot's Armoury sells ranged and melee weapons. More become available with rebirth progression. The community lists Frying Pan and Pistol at R1, and Ban Hammer, Gatling Gun and Necrowavicon at R10.
Weapons are described as session purchases: after rejoining, buy them again. April footage shows Ban Hammer and Gatling Gun costing 3T at R10; use that as historical context, then read the present shop. For Airship, bring a ranged option rather than assuming a melee weapon can reach the target. Boss preparation.
